These lines remind us that even a small spark of energy can nourish qualities like mindfulness, kindness, and joy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Close your eyes.<br>Gather all the kindling<br>About your heart<br>To create one spark<br>That is all you need<br>To nourish the flame<br>That will cleanse the dark<br>Of its weight of festered fear.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In practice, cultivating wholesome states does not require monumental effort. Sometimes, it is as simple as a kind thought, a moment of gratitude, or the intention to stay present. These small sparks of effort can grow into a flame that transforms our experience, cleansing the weight of fear or resistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The poem continues:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A new confidence will come alive<br>To urge you towards higher ground<br>Where your imagination<br>will learn to engage difficulty<br>As its most rewarding threshold!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As we nurture wholesome states, we often discover a new confidence and resilience.
