&#8211; kindness is an essential part of our mindfulness practice, allowing us to open to our inner goodness, and to meet experience with less resistance<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grzesina.net\/meditation\/january-4-taking-your-seat\/\">4<\/a> &#8211; Taking your seat &#8211; some posture pointers for meditation<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grzesina.net\/meditation\/january-5-exhale-and-inhale\/\">5<\/a> &#8211; Exhale and inhale &#8211; mindfulness of breathing<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grzesina.net\/meditation\/january-6-embodied-awareness\/\">6<\/a> &#8211; Embodied awareness &#8211; bringing mindfulness to the body in motion &#8211; like when we&#8217;re washing dishes or making tea &#8211; what you notice with your mindful task?<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grzesina.net\/meditation\/january-7-body-as-the-doorway-to-mindfulness\/\">7<\/a> &#8211; Body as the doorway to mindfulness &#8211; body scan meditation, formally or informally<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grzesina.net\/meditation\/january-8-step-by-step\/\">8<\/a> &#8211; Step by step &#8211; a couple of styles of walking meditation<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grzesina.net\/meditation\/january-9-nourish-yourself\/\">9<\/a> &#8211; Nourish yourself &#8211; bringing mindfulness to eating<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grzesina.net\/meditation\/january-10-we-must-risk-delight\/\">10<\/a> &#8211; We must risk delight &#8211; the importance of joy in practice, that we can &#8220;borrow joy&#8221; when we resonate with others&#8217; happiness, and that joy is a way to build resilience in our work against injustice<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grzesina.net\/meditation\/january-11-noticing-the-flavor\/\">11<\/a> &#8211; Noticing the flavor &#8211; is an experience pleasant, unpleasant, or not really either, and notice our habitual response<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grzesina.net\/meditation\/january-12-when-hearing-just-hear\/\">12<\/a> &#8211; When hearing just hear &#8211; sounds as objects of meditation<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grzesina.net\/meditation\/january-13-try-to-love-everything-that-gets-in-your-way\/\">13<\/a> &#8211; Try to love everything that gets in your way &#8211; some of the common challenges that we notice when trying to be mindful<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grzesina.net\/meditation\/january-14-transforming-challenges-to-objects-of-meditation\/\">14<\/a> &#8211; Transforming challenges to objects of meditation &#8211; and various strategies for responding to the challenges that may arise<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grzesina.net\/meditation\/january-15-emotions-come-with-being-human\/\">15<\/a> &#8211; Emotions come with being human &#8211; including emotions in our mindful attention<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grzesina.net\/meditation\/january-16-welcome-and-entertain-them-all\/\">16<\/a> &#8211; Welcome and entertain them all! &#8211; using the practice of RAIN to meet emotions<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grzesina.net\/meditation\/january-17-give-back-your-heart-to-itself\/\">17<\/a> &#8211; Give back your heart to itself &#8211; self-compassion and the MUK practice<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grzesina.net\/meditation\/january-18-reflecting-on-emotions\/\">18<\/a> &#8211; Reflecting on emotions &#8211; how do we relate to emotions &#8211; includes some reflection questions<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grzesina.net\/meditation\/january-19-the-peace-of-wild-things\/\">19<\/a> &#8211; The peace of wild things &#8211; the STOP practice to respond to more difficult emotions, which may include skillfully turning to something more neutral and grounding<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.grzesina.net\/meditation\/january-20-what-do-you-think\/\">20<\/a> &#8211; What do you think?
